Michael Drayton Junior School, Nuneaton
The children developed
this logo that we use on
letterheads to write to
potential sponsors
Working with the whole School during 2012 we established what everybody liked, and
what we felt needed to be better. Then we all eventually agreed on a plan.
We spent some money in the summer on contractors who
installed the creative / performance space ...
... which has turned out well - just the willow entrance arches needed ...
... and an outdoor teaching shelter - now very much loved by the children and staff
Then WildlifeKate (who now works at the Schoool) had some fabulous ideas for the wildlife area which we developed into a plan
Our new friends from Severn Trent Water
came and helped us get started on the work
- firstly by digging the paths and a bigger
pond - working into the night!
... and then, after Travis Perkins delivered materials, we all worked
in the rain and mud!
to put down the landscape fabric and the recycled tyre chippings
Take a look at WildLifeKate’s webpage to see how the WildLearning space is being used and developed.
